I (Barb) went to Calgary on business in August. I had two play days. On one of those days I went to Drumheller about two hours from Calgary which is the home of the Canadian dinosaur find. It is amazing. There is a museum called the Royal Tyrrell museum and you can also go on a dig or on a hike through the badlands. Truly a unique Canadian experience. The other day I took a guided trip to Banff, Lake Louise and several other lakes and waterfalls. I went with a company called Brewster. They were very informative, it was nicely paced and the cost was very reasonable for a full day excursion. Just seeing Lake Louise and Moraine lake was incredible. All considered it was a great time to see beautiful nature , get out and hike in the mountains and appreciate this big beautiful country of ours.
